Sidcup’s big summer party weekend is back this June with a fantastic programme of food, fun and fabulous entertainment - plus a trip to the movies!
As it falls across Father’s Day, it’s also a great excuse to take Dad out and spoil him.
Sidcup Fringe Festival 2018 in association with Merton Court Prep School will be held on Saturday 16th June along the town’s High Street, and on Sunday 17th June with a Family Fun Day on The Green.
There will be food, drink and craft stalls, as well as a huge range of entertainment – bands, buskers, street performers and face painting - on both days.
Brand new for this year is the outdoor cinema on Sunday’s Family Fun Day. Screening three famous family movies on what will be Father’s Day, it’s an ideal way to bring Dad, Mum and the kids together to enjoy a picnic and a classic comedy film.
Entry on both days is free, and the organisers, Sidcup Partners – the local Business Improvement District - hope it will be a fantastic day out for the whole community.
There are lots of opportunities for businesses – food providers or craft retailers – as well as charities to obtain a stall at the event. Musicians, bands or entertainers who would like to perform to a weekend audience of around 1,000 people are also invited to get in touch.
